Just purchase a partially built Waiex #132 in March. Still a student pilot learning in a 1946 Champ. It is 3 years younger than me. Great ride! Hope to make steady progress on the Waiex. It will also be a tail dragger and polished.

Don,
Welcome to the group. Good to see another Illinois Waiex. I learned in a 1946 PA12, it was a good year for trainers. Back then it was 20 years younger than me. I feel like I am catching up though.

Hi Don;
Congrats on the adoption. I'm Bill Larson, builder of N861SX Sonex based at Mt Hawley in hangar 9. We also have a flying Onex in the chapter. Both of us are flying behind the AeroVee. Stop by or come to the EAA 563's Thursday morning coffee in the chapter hangar. Hope to meet you soon.
