Howdy

Hello all!

I'm a long time fan of the Sonex line of aircraft. I used to lurk on the Yahoo groups. I figured I'd introduce myself here because I sold my C-170 last week and I'm now dreaming of a Sonex again. I used to dream of building one and even tested myself by building a dune buggy in my garage to figure out whether I had the fortitude to justify the purchase of an expensive box of 6061. Even though I passed that test and built a really nice car, I've decided I would rather purchase a nicely built Sonex/Waiex/Onex.

So I plan on heading to Crossville next month to meet some of you and, hopefully, find somone willing to give me a ride around the patch. If any of you might be considering passing your baby on to a loving home, let me know and I'll be sure to bring my checkbook.

Welcome to the forum Glenn! I am sure you could build one if you built a dune buggy. That aside, I am sure you can find a nice Sonex/Waiex/Onex to buy. If you want a jet you may have to wait a while. Good luck!
