Can anyone tell me how to install the new aeroinjector on a Jabiru 2200? Looks complicated. Thanks. Jim. egadnow@yahoo.com

The injector should have come with detailed instructions. Did you not receive them?

Hi Jim,

Stuart Trist took me on a flight in his J2200 powered Sonex recently.
He used to have the aerocarb on his J2200 but was not impressed at all to say the least, the "burps" are a real problem and no matter what he and other Sonex builder friends tried, they could not get the problem rectified. It seems these "burps" happen at the most awkward moments he tells me, like during takeoff on a hot day.
He eventually went back to the Bing carburator that came with the J2200 engine, he is much happier now.
Just a warning, maybe you have more success.

Cheers,
Michael

Thanks. Installed OK but can"t tune following directions. Kept fuel pump and put in a Holley lo pressure regulator set about as low as it will go (1) Went to #1needle,rotated fuel valve leaner. Slowly getting better but not ready to test fly yet. Throttle cable didn"t fit without work. Directions said 1/4 and 1/8 NPT!!! 1/8 was real. Don't know how many other hidden but not obvious errors. How did your aeroinjector go? Thanks. Jim.

Jim, are we talking about an Aero-Injector on a Sonex? If so, why is there a pressure regulator on it? That would be my first thing to dump if there is a problem. Gravity flow should be adequate in the Sonex fuel system....
