Mixture control knob

...just wondering about the quality of this mixture control knob from AIrcraft Spruce...

It's small, low cost and locks/unlocks with a button, available in 5 or 8 foot lengths, can be shortened.

Any other recommendations?

The one you want is the a-700. The one you show is just a push pull . You will want the locking type. You may also consider a vernier type for more accurate setting as the mixture is kind of sensitive.

I've flown with both the push/pull and the vernier. I like the fine tuning of the vernier much better.

I second John's opinion. Vernier for mixture is worth considering.

I have a push/pull and it works fine. It does tend to wander "out" a quarter of an inch or so at times if it's starting from the full rich (in) position.
