Thanks Mike,
That indeed will be a milestone.

Finally something worth reporting

I'm finally moving forward, and finished plans page SNX-F11 yesterday. The forward fuselage box structure is all riveted up, including the upper and lower firewalls.

A lot farther along on my left wing. Haven't updated my build log in a month or so, but there are some photos here of our progress. I have the entire wing framed out and clecoed up - plan to level it out and square it up this weekend so we can lay one wing skin out for a test fit. Not planning on riveting a thing until after we finish the right spar details so once we take the left one apart for deburring and final clean up, I can clamp them up together and drill up the attachments.

I also fit the landing light kit in - I am impressed with the Duckworks kit we bought for $79. It had everything we need to install it it and more. Took me less than an hour to put in. Flying around Chicagoland and under the Class Bravo here has taught me I need a landing light even if I never fly it at night...

My tech counselor will probably be by this weekend also for a visit - looking forward to it. He's a family friend and lives a mile away from our house at the airpark my in-laws live in.

The wings are looking great Robbie! Was your tech counselor able to stop in and take a look? I wish I would have gone with the Duckworks system...it looks really sleek!

Hopefully you'll have the frame riveted up in no time! Are you doing both wings at once?
