Weather has been poor, and I've had a killer cold so it's been weeks since I've flown. We did a post-maintenance ground run after changing the oil pump and eliminating the oil filter. No preheat (though I heat my hangar to 40) and it started and ran. I feel a lot better about my upcoming Tennessee trip.

First time out of the phase 1 area and Adam's first landings away from home. This is DeKalb, where he is going to college.


Also after that flap rework, we are nicely balanced in roll. I'm pleased.

Here is some follow up on my flap issue. With the reworked flap, the airplane flies exceedingly true. We have installed the flap stops. On our flight to and from KOSH today we could trim up and fly hands off.
