Getting in and out was hard for him. I get the Sonex High Wing now.

I like this photo. Keep the memory. My father passed away about a month before my first flight. He was a big fan of my building activities. I was privileged to give my mother a ride when she was 90 years of age. It was a beautiful calm evening and she loved every minute of it. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks F5! We made it home. A total of 11 hours for the trip including 1.2 worth of local flying.

Say your Dad looks right sprytly for 87. I'm 87-88 in 8 more days. Just completed BFR couple weeks ago in C140, 4 landings. Hadn't flown one since soloing in my Dad's 120 in 1954, That nose sticking up kinda bothered me, too many recent hours in nose draggers. I'm 99.9%, 99.9% to go{seems like have been at this point forever, darn wiring overwelmes me), scratch/plans built, Scott Castler 2400cc. VW.
